SMC has undertaken a global roll out of the new version of System 21 (ERP). A template approach will be used with the aim to enable easy upgrades to new versions of the software, support a common way of working and optimize use of IT resources.

Key performance areas

The person we are looking for will specialize in: 

• Sandvik and SMC financial business processes 
• Sandvik and SMC accounting and reporting demands 
• System 21’s modules – mainly financial 
• Maintenance of SMC’s Financial Template 
• Financial Template training

Previous knowledge/experience in these areas is a definite plus. The person will manage process support issues related to Financial Template and provide recommendations to the Governance group on local demands / needs for each implementation.

Also, the person will: 

• Be responsible for local end-user training (in co-operation with the Documentation / Training function) 
• Interact with Process responsibles for the Distribution and Service templates

Your profile
You have a Bachelor Science degree in Accounting or equivalent, with 5 years of relevant job experience. You also have experience with System21 or similar AS/400 based ERP systems and Project Management skills/experience as well. You are willing to do intensive travelling and being away from home 2-3 weeks at a time.
You are a good communicator and a change agent while still ensuring local stringency and adherance to the Templates.
